Consonant-vowel-consonant ("CVC") words
Consonant-vowel-consonant words like "cat" or "hop" are great ways to begin practicing sequencing sounds in words.
Why CVC Words?: Consider working on CVC words if you are working on intelligibility (understand-ability if you will)
I've arranged them into small families, or words that have the same ending, to make it easier visually.
Mix them up if you want a challenge and practice making sure you have each sound, beginning, middle and end, correct!
